Semi-Automatic ASTM D2892 D5236

This system performs semi-autoamtic D2892 and D5236 crude oil distillation. Just put sample in the boiling flask and start the test. Everything else is done automatically.

ASTM D2892 "True Boiling Point Distillation" is used for semi-automatic distillation of crude oil samples from their initial boiling point up 400 °C. Fractions from butane up to middle distillates can be collected for quantification and further analysis.

ASTM D5236 "Vacuum Pot Still" for semi-automatic distillation of the residue from D2892 up to 565 °C or higher. Fractions of middle distillates up to asphalts can be collected for quantification and further analysis.
